Virtual Support Groups for Mothers

Support groups can help to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and social isolation. Socializing is necessary, but it is not always an option for some people. Virtual support groups are a safe way to gather with other mothers and to learn from them.

Why should I try a support group for mothers?

Our Support Group is a safe place to speak freely without being judged or criticized. Topics can be about coping with stress, adjustment to motherhood, baby blues, pregnancy depression/anxiety and more. 

 

​What is the cost of attending a group?

Mommy Monday's class is always free. Our Meditation and Reflection Class is $5.

Is it safe to participate in the virtual support group?
Yes, we use Zoom for our virtual meetings, which provide a secure connection. All our meetings are password protected and only registered mothers have the password.

Can I participate without giving my name or cutting my camera on?
Yes, you can be anonymous in the group.


What about if I don't have a computer or Internet connection?
No computer. No problem. You can participate by dialing into a phone number for the meeting.

​​What is the money used for from the Meditation and Reflection Class?

Each class session is $5 and the money goes to our Committed Care Contributions. Learn more​
