Postpartum Consultation

Service Description

Each consult includes a detailed history with assessment of mother and baby, observed feeding, discussing normal newborn feeding behaviors/patterns, describe nursing positions including what a proper latch looks like, answer your questions, and calm any fears about breastfeeding, and the creation of a plan to help you reach your breastfeeding goals. Additional videos and supplemental handouts will be provided based on your specific needs. This can also include or be a pump flange fitting or working on setting up and using your pump. Included in the fee for the consultation is two weeks of follow up via phone, text, or e-mail.​ Virtual support is available using HIPPA-compliant video conferencing.​ In person support at your home is available within a 10 mile drive of Midtown Detroit ($25 travel fee). Outside 10 miles please contact me for additional travel fee.
